Born From Egypt’s Equestrian Heritage
Paw N Hoof began where the Arabian horse has always belonged — in the stables and open country of Egypt. Our products are made here, shaped by a tradition of horsemanship built on patience, natural care, and doing right by the animal.
That standard didn’t stay in the stable. The same gentle, considered care we give a horse now goes into everything we make for dogs — formulations made for daily use, rooted in a place that has cared for these animals for generations.
Arabians are where we started, not where we stopped. The same formulas serve a Thoroughbred on the gallops, a Warmblood in the arena and the pony in the back paddock — we build for coat, skin and hoof, not for breed.
Egypt's own dog, in the same yard
The Baladi is Egypt's own dog — not a breed shipped in and adapted, but a landrace shaped here over centuries. Hardy, even-tempered, built for heat and dust. It is the dog asleep in the shade of the stable, the dog at the gate, the dog most Egyptian families actually live with.
The Baladi taught us the climate, not the limit. Sun, dust and hard ground ask for gentler cleansing, moisture that holds and nothing that strips — as true for a Golden Retriever as for the dog at the stable gate. We formulate for coat and skin, not for pedigree: pH-balanced for dogs and suitable from three months old, whatever the breed.
The People Behind The Brand
Paw N Hoof was founded by Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Abou Shousha, friends since childhood for more than 35 years and lifelong animal lovers. Mohamed Awad is a lifelong horseman and entrepreneur; Mohamed Abou Shousha built his career as a Finance Director in multinational pharmaceutical companies. Together they created Paw N Hoof to make the products they would confidently use on their own animals every day.
